Carles Ferreira. Political Scientist. PhD in Comparative Politics, University of Kent.

Political Scientist

My work sits at the intersection of political science research and real-world institutional practice.

I am a political scientist specialising in comparative politics and applied political analysis. I help institutions and organisations navigate complex political and institutional environments by combining rigorous academic research with hands-on experience across government and the private sector.

I hold a PhD in Comparative Politics (University of Kent, UK). My academic work focuses on territorial politics, multilevel governance and political parties, and has been published in leading journals such as Nations and Nationalism, Party Politics and Regional and Federal Studies.

I currently work in public affairs at Burson and collaborate with several universities in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. Alongside academia, I have held advisory and senior support roles in both public and private institutions, working with governments and organisations operating in complex institutional and policy settings.
