Carles Ferreira

Carles Ferreira. Political Scientist. PhD in Comparative Politics, University of Kent.

Political Scientist

My work sits at the intersection of academia and political consultancy.

I hold a PhD in Comparative Politics from the University of Kent (UK). I currently work as a public affairs consultant at Burson and teach at several universities at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

My academic specialisation is in comparative politics, with research focusing on territorial politics, political parties and political discourse. I have published in national and international peer-reviewed journals and have nearly ten years of teaching and research experience in Spain and the United Kingdom.

My professional trajectory includes advisory roles in both public and private institutions, including serving as Chief of Staff in the Government of Catalonia. This background provides direct insight into how political decisions are shaped and implemented.
